Mustafa Beg is an investment executive with over 15 years of international experience in investing in traditional and Islamic financial services. He has been a director of BMI Bank in Bahrain and Gulf African Bank in Kenya. Mustafa holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration from Lahore University of Management Sciences and is a CFA charter holder.
Mustafa Beg was the Managing Director of Istithmar World. As a Managing Director, Mustafa oversaw investments by Istithmar worldwide within the different sub-sectors of the financial services sector, such as banks, asset management firms, insurance firms, and specialty finance. Before joining Istithmar, Mustafa was employed at Cupola Group and was a member of the team that invested in private equity and venture capital in a wide range of industries in the Middle East, South Asia, and North America.
